I'll start out by saying that I have struggled with obesity most of my adult life. I went on a doctor supervised weight loss program that consists of only 500 calories per day and lost 80lbs, and then got pregnant. When losing the baby weight afterward, I hit a bit of a brick wall and could not seem to stop cheating on my diet. I took one of my husband's Lipo 6 for men one afternoon to help curb my cravings and get my last 5lbs off so I could transition off of my low calorie diet. I thought I could handle the mens' version since I have been given prescription diet pills (FROM A DOCTOR) in the past and figured this couldn't have been any stronger. Boy was I wrong! My hubby's Lipo 6 caused me to vomit and become very lightheaded, but I was very impressed with the results when looking at the scale (BEFORE getting sick) so I decided to try the womens' version. I should have known better, since I was roughly 125lbs and my husband was about 270lbs. So, I bought the womens' version the next day and felt MUCH better...only a tiny bit of nausea if you don't remember to get something in your belly after taking it. And I'm no less impressed with the results! I cannot say how "healthy" my situation is, or if it is safe, but I swear I have lost roughly 6lbs in 4 days of taking this pill. This is, of course, while taking in a VERY small number of calories, which is unsafe for persons not under the care of a doctor. And I'm sure had he known about it, my doctor would never have approved of me taking a diet pill over-the-counter. Please do not misunderstand me, I am aware that MY story is not typical with this pill and really is probably downright unsafe, but overall I would give this pill a high rating for a typical person who eats a regular, balanced diet with a regular number of calories. It does make me a little bit jittery and again a bit nauseated, but I consume only 500 calories per day at this time. I will keep these pills on hand for after I transition back to a full calorie diet and need to suppress my appetite.
