BRILLIANT,
By A Customer
This review is from: Nutrition and Your Mind: The Psychochemical Response (Paperback)
What a gem! Dr. George Watson is truly a visionary. This book was written in the mid 1960s when the idea that psychological disorders could be caused by metabolically incompatible nutrition was viewed as a joke. Tragically, with 1 exception (Dr. Rudolf Wiley - see BIOBALANCE), no one has taken the time to follow-up on Dr. Watson's pioneering work. In this context, and with this one exception, ALL (yes, ALL) of the food-mood-health books written since Dr. Watson's time are either terribly limited or just plain wrong. I would urge anyone who is truly interested in this fascinating field to read this phenomenal book. 3 cheers for Dr. Watson, a man who was and remains far ahead of his time! The only remaining question is how much longer must we wait for the media to wake up and re-discover Watson's work and give him the praise and recognition he so richly deserves?

This review is from: Nutrition and Your Mind: The Psychochemical Response. (Hardcover)
This book contained many case reports of patients and how their diet affected them psychologically. I was disappointed that it was not more specific in ways that we could use personally.
