OK on specific nutrients, poor overall plan,
By Eric J. (Detroit, Motor Golfin') - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nutritional Leverage for Great Golf (Paperback)
A nice touch to let me know what ginko is and what it does, but poor on the overall plan. I wanted something that would say "if you walk this much, weigh this much, eat this..." I got a few ideas, not much of a roadmap.

Confusion ends about sports bars and sports drinks.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Nutritional Leverage for Great Golf (Paperback)
This book was extremely interesting. I found the graphs comparing the various sports drinks and sports bars on the market a great addition to the nutritional information. I have been confused as to which bar to eat when I play golf as to when I go to the gym for a short lifting workout. This book helped me choose. I also learned how important electrolytes are not only because I'm out in the sun a lot, but because I've been told they need to be replaced after my aerobic workouts. This book gave me the opportunity to find out the best electrolyte supplements and the best drinks. I thank the authors for including this clarifying information.

All golfers A MUST READ!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Nutritional Leverage for Great Golf (Paperback)
I starting working out by reading a book on fitness for golfers and found that my game and self-confidence improved! Now I have bought this book to supplement my energy level on the course and found that my game has been the best ever! For years golfers have neglected taking care of the inside, as well as the outside of their bodies, and this has come at a high price. With a sound nutritional program and a sound exercise program, I have become the golfer I always wanted to be, thanks a million!

By increasing my stamina I have lowered my score 3-5 strokes,
By A Customer
This review is from: Nutritional Leverage for Great Golf (Paperback)
A friend gave me a copy of this book. I am 54 and have a bad back. As well I get tired around the 15th hole. By following the info on bad backs and eating raisins when I need a quick boost I have lowered my score by 3-5 strokes. My wife also enjoyed the book. This book should be on everybody's Christmas list.John White Toronto, Canada

This book has helped me and other golfers that play just once a week. Very simply the authors explained how important eating the right foods is good for us and the benefits show in our lower scores. THANKS
