Greatest grinder - worthy of accolades,
By jimSJN "Servant of Jesus of Nazareth" (Brookings SD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nutritionist FX5 Daily Dose Flax Seed Mill (Kitchen)
I am surprised at the mediocre reviews and wonder if these people want a machine that does everything including waking them up from their lethargy in the morning.
We have used the FX5 for three years - meaning that grinding 8 tablespoons of flax seed each monring that my wife and I have for breakfast, plus that which she adds to our 12 grain organic bread - four to six loaves a week, really puts the FX5 to the test. In this three years we have ground over 100 pounds of flax through the FX5 machine. It's only needed cleaning a couple times when it jammed. That's understandable since flax is 30% oil. Not bad for 100 pounds or three years! But the FX5 is easy to clean with the removable cap above the actual grinder. It's a gem and the only one I will consider. We have even ordered a spare, just in case they would not be made in the future. Two features that are exceptional: (1) the closed tank that collects the ground seed, and (2) the capability to adjust the fineness / coarseness of the grind. And its easy to clean. The FX5 is a jewel worthy of a golden award.

Making flax seed a ritual,
By
This review is from: Nutritionist FX5 Daily Dose Flax Seed Mill (Kitchen)
This is the best way to make your flax seeds a daily ritual. It's right on the counter, fun to use for the entire family and ground fresh as needed. There are 3 texture settings for grinding the seed, depending on what you are adding it to. Add some to salads, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, veggies, anything you can think of to increase your Omega 3's and fiber intake. I give them as gifts.

Going great after 5 years,
This review is from: Nutritionist FX5 Daily Dose Flax Seed Mill (Kitchen)
I use my Nutritionist Flax Seed Grinder every morning. I put in 1 tablespoon of flax seeds and grind them to add to my oatmeal. It has not failed as of yet. I have used it on a couple of other seeds, but really use it mostly for flax seeds. I am so glad I bought this mill.

Good product: Has a handy little removable containerfor the milled flax that holds enough for several days & goes right in the fridge. I haven't tried milling peaches with it, though;)

The Grinder,
By A Customer
This review is from: Nutritionist FX5 Daily Dose Flax Seed Mill (Kitchen)
This grinder is worth the. . . dollar amount but not much more than that. It handled my necessary duties of soft things such as ice cream and peaches, but once you got into the heftier materials, its strugled. That is why I gave it a 3 instead of a 4 or 5.
