Book Description

September 1, 2000
Any reader with a birdfeeder knows that the #1 enemy is the squirrel. No matter how expensive or elaborate the feeder, the pesky critters always find a way to fill their cheeks with seeds. Now, Nuts About Squirrels gives readers a better understanding of "squirrel psychology," including informative advice on how they can still feed their birds and get along with squirrels at the same time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loving Those Squirrels!, May 31, 2002

I do squirrel rescue/rehab and have read a lot of books; this is one of the best. Mallery gives a lot of information about squirrel lifestyle, history, trivia and ideas for facilitating squirrel/bird yard-sharing, all in a way that will make make you laugh as much as the squirrels do. There are even recipes for treats. Information AND entertainment!

Great book about living around and appreciating squirrels. They are a comedy show right in your own back yard. This book is out of print. I hope they might have more printed, it is a great read.
