I was incredibly eager for this headset to come out after my Logitech headset worked so poorly. I purchased this one and had about a minute to play with it before catching a plane ride for a week's vacation. When I got home, I again tried it out and found that I was not terribly pleased. While the sound was clear, it wasn't nearly loud enough. I had to ask folks to repeat things. My end of the conversation was only slightly distorted however. The other problem is the fact that the darned thing wouldn't stay in my ear. I have earbuds with the same exact earcup, but because of the weight of the earpiece (which isn't much, but enough) it kept slowly slipping off of my ear. A bit annoying if you're playing a game.
Then came the problem with the battery. I found that after a time, the headset wouldn't hold a charge for more than a half-hour. I don't know about other gamers, but I binge on games. When I get a chance to play, it is for several hours... or days. I called customer support (GS won't take it back after a week) and was told that they only offer to replace the product or give you alternate products from their line. I wasn't happy, but what can you do? I'm probably going to ebay this turkey. I wouldn't recommend this item because of the ill-fit, the loudness (or lack thereof), and the poor warranty. I'll probably give up and wait for Xbox2 to worry about wireless again. A shame, too, since I spent a pretty penny on a logitech wireless controller. It's wireless, sure, and it is clear, but is extremely lacking in other areas.

I was rather impressed by the idea of going full wireless with my Logitech Wireless Controller and Nyko Wireless headset for Xbox Live. WARNING: I could not use it unless I already had an Xbox live communicator. It will not connect unless it is plugged into the com part of the xbox communicator. Which means I had to spend an additional 30$ for a communicator. If you can get a cheap communicator then its definetely worth it.

Disappointed,

For the price, I expected more than I got. It works alright. The sound quality is as good as the headset that came free with the Xbox Live subscription. Too bad you can't keep the earpiece in your ear so you can hear it. The hook that holds it on your ear is so soft that the headset just flops around on the side of your head. You have to keep your head tilted to the side to keep it in your ear! Also, the rechargeable battery dies very fast. It's a good idea, not very well executed.
