Perfect Combination of Darkness and Light,

NYMPHETAMINE will always be one of my favorite Cradle of Filth songs, including the album's longer version. This shorter cut is perfect for someone who would like to try Cradle on for size, but may be concerned that they're too "extreme."
Liv Christine [of LEAVES' EYES] is the perfect counterpoint of ethereal to Dani Filth's bestial vocals, and this is a fresh and sumptuous spin on the tag team male/female "beauty and beast" style of metal. This song also has a darkly alluring "hook" that will swirl around in the bloodstream, just as the title promises. The video is also dark-sexy-gorgeous, and I do not apologize for the way Dani's facial expressions make my toes curl. :o) It's on Roadrunner Records' YouTube page if you search for NYMPHETAMINE. |
