The front and top panels are made from Strong ABS plastic and the retention tabs are quite sturdy.

Pros:
Looks great, i like the design, elegant but not too flashy.
Lots of room for cable management.
Onboard fan controller.

Cons:
DO buy the NZXT 200mm fan is you wish to install the two addition 200mm fans. Other brands(such as CM) will NOT fit in.
Not enough room for the side 200mm fan if a large cpu heatsink is installed (see my pics which i used a Scythe Mugen 2).
You have to keep the intake fans running faster than the exhaust ones to overpressure your case to prevent dust.
calculation here (assuming all 7 fans are installed):
NZXT 120mm fan: 47CFM
NZXT 140mm fan: 62.5CFM
NZXT 200mm fan: 166CFM
intake=47+47+62.5+166=322.5
exhaust=47+166+166=379
you will get a -56.5CFM if all fans are at stock speed.
So save your money and forget about the additional top 200mm exhaust fan.

I've been using this case for about a month and I'm a huge fan. I'd never heard of NZXT before but the reviews for this case caught my eye and I figured it was worth a shot. It definitely was. Coming from an hp media center case was like night and day, literally. This case is black and the hp case is white... The night is a bit bigger but not by much, and the phantom has better aesthetics, airflow, and cable management.

Pros:
a: The case is very spacious. It's tall and long so you don't have to worry about fitting your graphics card. My Radeon HD6950 has about 3 or 4 inches of room between the rear of the card and the drive bays.
b: Lots of fan ports: 2 192mm fans on top pump out hot air, a side port allows you to blow on your graphics card and motherboard, and front/side fans blow on your hard drives. All this makes for a cool system.
c: Integrated fan controller. Very nice for regulating your fans manually; you no longer have to worry about PWM and whatnot. Very convenient if using for both gaming and home theater.
d: Lots of angles; this is a very sexy case and very distinctive. If you like having a unique system, this case may be for you.
e: Very large. Yes, this was covered in a, but only with respect to room for interior components. There are other benefits as well. Upon first seeing this case, my 5'2" girlfriend commented that if an armed intruder were to enter the house, she could hide behind the case and have a reasonable chance of escaping unscathed. I agreed, and added that if I removed the hard drive bays, I could fit her into it and send her to NZXT for warranty support.

Alas, every product has cons. Here they are for this case:
a: The major con is the width of the case and/or positioning of the rear outlet fan.

So before the Pros and Cons I thought I'd add a little personal input. I'd been watching reviews and customs builds with this case and had been debating between this case, and the Cooler Master HAF-X 942. I know people who own the 942 and absolutely love it, but I couldn't justify the extra $100 in my particular situation, when that money could be allocated elsewhere. I am not a fan-boy for any company, besides RAM, I have never bought the same component from the same company twice in a row. There are alot of good companies out there and I have yet to try them all.

Pros:
1) Very Glossy finish - Looks very nice
2) Comes with 1 x 200mm Top fan, 1 x 120mm Rear fan, and 2 x 120mm Side fans with the option to add an additional 200mm fan at the top, a 120 or 140mm fan in the front and a 200 or 230mm fan on the side door which sits above most CPU's and GPU's on most motherboard positions.
3) "Updated Versions" Comes with the new USB3.0 top panel which includes 1 x USB3.0 and 1x USB2.0 (if your's didn't come with it, you can purchase it at NZXT's website for $15.
4) Steel Construction (albeit thinner than my previous cases) is sturdy and pleasantly light. Especially compared to my old "Thermaltake Xaser V Damier Series"
5) Mesh is very sturdy and reinforced, does a good job at helping prevent dust from entering the case.
6) The Rubber PSU mounts at the bottom of the case are very tall, thick, and sturdy. Does a fantastic job of dampening any PSU vibrations.
7) A full 1inch space in the back panel to route your cables. There are also more than an abundance of tie down points to zip tie your cables.

I had bee planning on buying this case for quite some time and I finally got it. I must say that as awesome as the case is it does have its flaws.

PROS:
-Looks
-Plenty of cooling
-Plenty of space for storage and media drives
-Includes fans and blue led's(if you're into lights)with a rear on/off switch for the leds.
-Magnetic front panel door
-Seperate fan speed control (front, rear, top, side)
-Easy drive install and slide out bays
-Easily removable front and top panels
-Dust filters
-Extra removable drive cage
-2012 versions of this case have a top usb 3.0. Mine does not. :(

Cons:

Small grommets.
For a case this size, it's pretty sad that I can't fit all my cables through the grommets. My Antec TPQ 1200 has large capacitors near the cable harnesses and some of them do not fit through the grommets. This almost makes me regret buying such a huge power supply. Also, my 8 pin ATX power connector for the motherboard didn't fit through the small top corner hole. I had to run it through the inside of the case and this completely defeats the purpose of all my cable management work. If you buy this case and have an Antec TPQ 1200 or any large psu, you might want to think about some cable extensions.

Fan fitment.
The NZXT Phantom ONLY takes NZXT 200mm fans. I'm running two 200mm intake fans up top. I picked up a Cooler Master fan on sale because it has blue led's to match, and it was on sale. It barely fits in the top location and also only has one screw holding it in place because the mounts don't line up to the case. It's actually not as bad as it sounds because it's so tight in there(TWSS)it stays in place without rattling.
