Run, don't walk, away from this item.

I've had good luck with other assemble-it-yourself furniture over the years, but NOT this item, which may have put me off inexpensive, do-it-yourself furniture for all time.

At least two of the parts were not drilled properly, making installation impossible (unless you have a power drill and the ability to redrill the holes yourself, and even then, I'm not sure it would have worked).

In addition, the flimsiness of the materials make them prone to damage in transit. The section that constitutes the top surface of the desk had a large crack across the width, plus some damage around the edges.

If you're looking for a desk or computer workstation, do yourself a favor and either buy an already assembled item or possibly one that's more expensive and better made.

I wish I'd read the other review of this item before buying it. And I hope others heed these reviews before wasting their time and money on this product.
