This works great on wood floors.

If you have owned, or own a wring mop you will be aware of how much it hurts the hand to get a good dry wring.

This refill fit my Vileda Pro Wring mop. Just a heads up if you're looking for a refill, as I don't see any listed for that mop specifically.

This is one of the best mops & refills around. The mop is a twist wring action which works pretty well. I usually give it a light hand wring after I have used the twist action of the mop. I find that as the mop refills starts to wear they do not wring as well (they are not as bulky) and leave in a little too much water when mopping my handwood floors. This extends the life of the refill as they mop just as well, just don't wring as dry.

I recommend that you either swiffer or vacuum your floors before using this mop. At my house with kids, husband and pets if I mop without sweeping first I pick up way to much debris (especially pet hair) and have to continually change my water. I do not use any harsh chemicals with my mop - only 1/4 Cup white vinegar to 1-gallon of water. This works great on wood floors. I can't say how long the mop will last with chemical use but I generally get 4-6 months of once a week mopping out of these refills. Also I usually throw the refill in my washer after 2-3 mopping uses. Do not put in dryer, hang dry with strands hanging down.

Amazon.com was the last place I was able to find these refills so I got 6! Seems like every time I find a mop I like the manufacturer makes a change and I have to start all over again finding a mop I like.

Happy Mopping!!

I had to buy a new mop because the refills for my old mop were nowhere to be found. I really liked the style of the wring mop, so I was going for the same thing. I am thrilled with the Vileda pro wring mop. If you have owned, or own a wring mop you will be aware of how much it hurts the hand to get a good dry wring. With the Vileda there is none of that. It makes a clicking noise when one wrings it, then after about 3 to 6 easy twists it is perfect! My floors dryed in no time. The only reason I did not give this item 5 stars is because when I twist the open mop to fan it, the hard part of the base scrapes along the floor, but all I had to do was fold the mop over and it worked great. There are even these special scrubbers on the top meant for just that. I guess I didn't realize how much I really needed a new mop, and stumbled upon the right one!

I wanted the mop refill pictured, but what I received was not like the photo. I specially ordered these refils because I wanted the ones with the heavy-duty tops (looks like leatherette or heavy blue vinyl). The mop heads wear at the top of the strands from being wrung out so much, and the heavy-duty top would keep the mop head from becoming frayed in that area. I was disappointed that what I received was just the regular mop heads with the same fiber strips all the way to the top. I could have bought those locally. I have since found the ones with the heavy-duty tops at Target, so I will be buying them there in the future.

I love these mop heads. They do a great job at picking up everything on the floor, but it is not as thick as I thought.I know there are different types, but this doesn't seem to be the true Vileda mophead I originally bought.I have had a hard time finding vileda products where I now live.I fell in love with Vileda when I lived in Germany. In Florida,I still found them on the shelf, but In VT it has been a chore to find them.Anyway, make sure you get the thickest model. They last longer and pick up more dirt.

The Vileda Pro-Wring has been my favorite mop in a while and the replacement heads are hard to find. I am please to see them here so I can get a little more use out of this mop before I have to change (again) due to the product being discontinued. I thought my mop was OCedar and these are the heads I bought for them locally. I was surprised to look at my mop and see that it really says Vileda.

this is the best mop I have ever had.
It rinses easily and has an integrated
cone to squeeze out excess water.
The strips get into every corner and
are durable for quite a long time.
Then when you need a new one, you can
easily replace the mop head

We have been using this product for sometime, they have strengthened the wringer which stops the mop strands from coming out as quickly with continuous use.
