Product Description

Turtle Ramps provide a simple, stable and easily cleaned platform for aquatic turtles to exit the water and bask as they would in their natural environment. Large suction cups hold the ramps firmly to the terrarium wall. The ramps are easily adjusted for the depth of the water environment. They may be easily released to be removed for cleaning. The non-porous ramp does not float, so may be placed at any level above or even beneath the water. Turtle Ramps offer filtered shaded light under the ramp that creates a safe hiding zone. Ideal for turtles, frogs, salamanders, newts any water environment loving reptile or amphibian pets.

I have two red eared sliders and have gone through MANY Zoomed floating turtle docks in the past. One of our sliders is about 10 inches long and 9 inches wide and weighs about 2.5 pounds (she's a big girl!). We ended up having to re-enforce every floating dock we bought because it just wouldn't support her weight. Recently, I started searching for something new. When I came across this product I was unsure if it would support the weight and if she would be able to pull herself up onto it. The ramp is still narrower than she is but when it is positioned about 2 inches from one of the sides of her 75 gallon tank she pulls herself right up. This dock allows her to be completely out of the water and she absolutely loves the (diving board. The suction cups are amazing, I was blown away by the amount of weight that they are able to support. I can't wait to purchase another one for our much smaller RES. The only thing that I would change: the width of the ramp, it would be 100% perfect if it were just a couple inches wider.

My RES loves it, I love it too. I was worried it won't take the weight and get lose and starts falling down but the ramp works perfectly and it give a clean look to the aquarium. Had it for 2 months now and its a great product.

This dock is GREAT!!! Very spacious and nice. The best on the market, by far. As my (RES) turtle has grown I've had to try them all...Unfortunately I found myself in the same situation again. She could no longer pull herself onto her last dock anymore. So I'm really grateful that I found this (brilliantly clever) ramp/dock as a replacement. It's clear, so it doesn't completely block her lighting like the last one did. It stays in place perfectly fine, and holds up under my lily's weight beautifully. She is BIG!, but the ramp provides plenty of space and comfort. She floated right up onto the lower portion of the ramp and pull herself up easily. She also turned herself around once she was on the dock too. As I'm typing this, she is hanging out on the upper part (diving board?) right now with her front feet dangling in the water. It's absolutely adorable. And all is well in the lily pad again...She's really happy, therefore so am I. My Lily and I, are completely satisfied this superior dock.

It served its purpose well for a few months, then the green traction material began 'shedding', clogging my filter, and now the strips are coming off the plastic completely.

I like this thing. It holds well to the side of the tank and is strong and sturdy. My only complaint is that it doesn't look natural enough to blend in with the rest of the landscape...especially if your going for a natural looking setting for your turtle.

well constructed out of reasonably thick acrylic. it also sticks quite firmly to the side of my glass aquarium. my 7" slider is just a bit to heavy for it, i ended up propping up the lower ramp with bricks (works fine now). i would recomend this for small turtle owners only, 5" and under. as your turtle grows you will need to upgrade. small pieces of food and waste can also get stuck behind it. other than that a fine but temporary product.

This is actually our second purchase of this product. We bought one for a pretty large Red-Eared Slider turtle when we realized nothing that floats would hold her. One word of caution: Make sure you know where you want those suction cups when you place it, you'll never get 'em loose again! It does tilt down when the weight of a big turtle is on it, so put it a good inch or two above your water line, if you want to let your turtle have enough space to get completely dry when it basks (an essential concept!)

This is an awesome product. I've had one for two months, zero problems, bought a second about a month later for our other turtles, again, zero issues.

One other thing to noteL We don't care about how "natural" our tank looks especially since my turtle will eat anything you put in the tank, edible or not, so this has been a great purchase. But if you want a "natural" look this is not for you, as it is just plastic/plexiglas and some green grippy strip.

Our turtle even "scratches" the back of her shell on the bottom ramp. I like how it gives her several options of how close to her lamp she wants to be when basking.

I bought this ramp a few months ago and my two RES have been loving it up until the green tape started to lose its non skid magic. RES turtles bodies grow very often as well as their claws and the more and more they climb up the ramp to bask the more the tape's non skid material fades. Now after 3 months my RES struggle to bask, I have to help them up. Now I have to find safe non skid tape for the turtle ramp as a replacement or completely throw away the ramp and buy another one (which by the way its not exactly cheap to constantly buy the same ramp every few months, the $$$ adds up after a while.) Its a disappointment to know that an item works only for such a short while.
