5.0 out of 5 stars The best b-side track collection ever
This album is the best b-side collection ever. All 14 songs would be on a full-release album for any other band, but the fact that all of these treasures were relegated to the B-side of singles unknown to the US is amazing. Each song tells an emotional story that anyone can relate to. If you had bought just one CD last year, it should have been this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars take his advice
not sure what's so special about it. i must admit i'm just a casual Oasis fan and it's not a bad cd but after about 5 listens it's pretty forgetable for the most part. the quality of sound/recording doesn't help.(mines an import) but if your a big fan it might be worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Materplan?, April 10, 1999
By A Customer
Although this is a great C.D., Noel Gallagher is quoted as saying "Don't buy this C.D. We don't need the money and you've heard all the songs before." Not many U.S. cusomers will have heard this quote but it is true! It doesn't mean that this is not a good C.D.Au contraire, it is one of the best I have heard as long as you have not already bought all of the singles!

5.0 out of 5 stars Noel's original plan before it went wrong!!, March 6, 1999
By A Customer
Not saying "Be Here Now" was bad I loved it, but th eonly problem now Noel has his regrets. This album holding power or whatever else was a genius. Few Americans have heard these songs and all of them are fantastic! "Swamp Song" swept me up and carried me, while "Talk Tonight" sat me back down to earth. If you want to hear another B-side watch " A Life Less Ordinary" the song at the end with the cartoon is also oasis. I think that deserved to be on "The Masterplan". That is called "Round Are Way".

5.0 out of 5 stars Oasis new abulm "The Masterplan" is a classic, January 31, 1999
By A Customer
Oasis new album "The Masterplan" is one of those cd's that deserves to be on everyone's "must-have" list. It is a great collection of Oasis at their finest, with classic songs like "Acquiesce," "Half The World Away," and "Stay Young." And you have to check out "Talk Tonight," a song sung by Noel Gallagher full of pure emotion that makes you feel good about life. This is pure Oasis.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oasis is no mirage, January 22, 1999

Oasis never cease to amaze me. The MAsterplan is a great album for fans who don't have their imported singels. And for fans it puts some of the best Oasis songs on one album. A must-have.
