I appreciate the clean elegance of the Kindle and the way it feels solid in the hand while reading. The last thing I wanted was to attach a cover that would add bulk, introduce flaps and reduce the fine styling of the Kindle. So I needed a sleeve. The OCTO Sleeve was perfect, rugged enough I know my Kindle will be well protected and the styling compliments that of the kindle. It's more secure than I expected, even after reading the other reviews. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it should be five to ten dollars cheaper. But then again, what kindle accessory isn't overpriced.

I needed a slim but protective sleeve to keep my Kindle from getting bumped around in my briefcase when I traveled. I was not interested in a flip-open sleeve, because they tend to "collect" things (sweetener packets, post-it notes, paper clips) while riding around in my bag, and I thought a sleeve would be a bit more secure.

This sleeve was sturdier that I first thought it would be. The material it is made of isn't at all flimsy - it's sturdy and custom-formed to fit the Kindle perfectly. The silver design is really elegant looking and complements the Kindle perfectly. I am very happy with my sleeve and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a streamlined and protective cover.

I chose this case over the other type of Kindle covers that open like a book and the Kindle stays attached because I did not want to hold on to a case while I was reading the thin and sleek Kindle 2. It is a nice hard case and the Kindle slides snuggly into it. The silver color rocks! There is a neat geometric design and it compliments the white and silver Kindle nicely. I am very happy with this purchase. Form and function all in one. What more can you ask for?

I do like the sleek, elegant look. But to me, the smell of this sleeve is so strong I don't want to put my kindle in it. It's the smell of toxic chemicals. I liked the fact that the sleeve is made out of recycled materials but whatever they use to process them must be deadly. I've left it out for several days and the smell has diminished a bit, but still not enough to put the kindle inside. In addition, as others have said, it seems overpriced. There's really not much to it, and the protection it offers is limited.

Love my Kindle sleeve - have had it now for over a year and it is holding up perfectly! It is protective enough that I can put it in my purse and not have to worry about my Kindle which is what I was really looking for. May have had a little chemical smell to it when I first opened it, but that dissipated very quickly, I would say over a few days. I just left it out to the air before using it and it caused me no problems. Would highly recommend this sleeve to others.

When I first got this I was concerned it wasn't as hard as what I was looking for - the front and back were a little flexible, i.e. you could pinch them together. But with the Kindle in it that part doesn't matter and it feels hard and sturdy when most important - when the Kindle is in it. I believe it would protect the Kindle if I ever were to drop it, as well. Luckily I haven't had to find out yet.

It is not bulky, just a tiny bit larger than the the Kindle so you won't notice a difference in the size or weight compared to the Kindle without it. I keep this in my purse everyday so it serves my purposes very well. If you are keeping this in a place where it can get heavily knocked around with bigger heavier items around it, I'm not sure it would hold up as well but for general use it is great.

The somewhat soft material on the walls inside hold your Kindle in, it won't slip out in your bag or anything; and when you want to take it out, the fact that it has that little area at the top where you can see "Amazon Kindle" on the Kindle cut out makes it easy to grip and grab. For looks, I like the sparkly silver design on the outside.

One suggestion I might make to Octovo would be to have a cut out at the bottom so you can plug the Kindle in while it's still in the case. This is very minor as you can just put the Kindle in upside-down while charging, but if they are looking for tweaks, there's one.

I spent a lot of time looking at the various cover options for my Kindle and I am very pleased that I decided on this sleeve. It is well-made, attractive, easy to use (just squeeze the sides to slide out your Kindle) and maintains the slim profile of the Kindle which allows me to carry it in my medium-sized purse.

This case is nice. The kindle fits snugly into the sleeve and it won't slip out on it's own. Definately will help to protect the Kindle.
The case came in different colors so I'm sure you could find one in the color you liked as well.

Wanted to get a simple lightweight case for the Kindle. From looking through the options available on Amazon this seemed like the best option and it turned out to be a great choice. The case is light, not adding much weight to the Kindle. However, it is sturdy and had enough strength to protect the Kindle from a reasonable bump or fall, which is good since the one thing the Kindle does lack is durability. It is simple yet stylish, and while a little pricey, still more reasonable than most other options. If you want a small, lightweight sleeve to protect your Kindle, this is a great choice.

Lightweight, sleek and durable. It allows you to slip your Kindle in and keep it safe from scratches and damage. only thing Idont like is having to carry it when i pull my Kindle out. It doesn't seem to bother my husband though. He sets the Kindle on top of it to read. I'm afraid i might slip off because it's a sleek and gloss design.
