5.0 out of 5 stars Smooth as Silk (so far at least!)
This PSU looks great and performs great. I am using it to power an ASUS A8R32-MVP motherboard, AMD Athlon FX-60 CPU, ATI X1900XT-X graphics card, four SATA II hard drives, couple of DVD drives, high-end audio card from Germany, and other miscellaneous components. So far, it has done this without even a hiccup.

I have a fairly tall case, so it was easy to tuck...

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice product but fan should be more reliable.
Nice power supply, very good, stable voltages, but fan is terrible quality, started to make noise after a month of use.Was forced to buy another fan and replace this noisy fan.
Here is an update of my review. almost 3 years passed and PSU died. Disassembled it to find out why and saw a leaked capasitor. Very very disappointed....

This review is from: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply 100 - 240 V - OCZ700GXSSLI (Personal Computers)

I have a fairly tall case, so it was easy to tuck the extra power cables away. Some folks may prefer a PSU with modular cables, which I have in another computer, but I usually end up using most of the cables anyway.

Connection of the main power cable, however, did require a glance at the manual (at least it did for me) because all of my motherboards use a 24-pin connector, whereas OCZ has split their Outlet Power connector into a 20-pin cable and a 4-pin cable. It was not intuitively obvious to me how these two parts connected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid PSU, July 29, 2008
This review is from: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply 100 - 240 V - OCZ700GXSSLI (Personal Computers)
I am very happy with this power supply. Can handle a powerful CPU along with a Crossfire or SLI setup. Very quiet as well and the cables are of adequate length. With is was modular but I knew that going in.

This is the quietest PSU I've heard. When I got it I couldn't believe how big it was and worried it might not fit into my case. It fit just fine. I like the way the cables are marked as to what they are for and the cables are wrapped for protection and cable management. The blue light is nice also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good strong PSU for modern GPU's, August 1, 2008
This review is from: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply 100 - 240 V - OCZ700GXSSLI (Personal Computers)
I must admit, I have been after a good solid PSU that would power my 9800GX2, and also give me plenty of strength for my Q9550. What I got was so much more. There is a nice ample 140mm blue led exhaust fan. This fan is silent and keaps the psu cool. The molex conectors have a convieniant easy on easy off clip system. This is a certified 80+ psu and I feel it will hold up well for most modern low end SLI or high end single card set-ups.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Customer Service, November 5, 2009
This review is from: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply 100 - 240 V - OCZ700GXSSLI (Personal Computers)
I purchased this power supply back in November 2006 with the intention of spending a little more money so the psu would be the cornerstone of any new builds I might undertake.

Unfortunately the psu failed but fortunately it was within a few days of the warranty expiration date.

Obtaining help from OCZ using their forum couldn't have been easier.

I registered, gave them my system specs, listed my computer's symptoms and my troubleshooting efforts. Steve responded within 24 hours with another tip and once it was determined the psu was the culprit, he was equally quick to issue RMA instructions. Under their warranty progam once my defective psu is received, OCZ will ship a replacement. I won't have to wait while OCZ looks at my old psu. Sure I'll have some down-time but it couldn't be avoided. I have a back-up pc to get me by.

I am disappointed this psu didn't last longer but I'm very satisfied with the quality of the customer service from OCZ. From reading other posts, it would seem this level of service is atypical. So not only is the service good but it seems consistent.

I would continue to buy OCZ products based on the quality of their customer service.

I really recomend this power supply, it's good looking if your PC is in the "Gamers" line ... It's not modular, but have a lot of connectors and cables are long. I's not noisy and helps to keep pcu cooler .. really nice product.

Great power supply. Just got it and it is really quiet. Same size and just as quiet as my 400W power supply and it runs cooler. So this is a great step up for those who need it.
