5.0 out of 5 stars I dont know what the last guy doing
when you install this memory, you're suppose to install only one stick then when you got the system running you added the other. I have a 790i NVGA board, 2.66 9450 Processor, 3 x 500G Seagate HD, and a 9800 GX2 XXX card. I got it 3.0 overclocked without any stress.

1.0 out of 5 stars bad batch?
I ordered 8 gigabytes of this memory from a different company back in April. It has performed perfectly.
I ordered a second 8 gigabytes of this memory from Amazon in early June and all four sticks fail even the easiest of the memtest86+ tests.
This memory seems to be generally unavailable, but I am reluctant to try another order from whatever source Amazon uses.

4.0 out of 5 stars Remember!, March 4, 2009

Must set voltage @ 1.9v to get system to boot up! Also, loosening the timings helps @ 1800 mhz and up. Not bad RAm, you just need to know what your doing and you'll be stress free.

I installed the memory. I set the memory timings to automatic. It overclocked the settings exactly as described. I have had no crashes since I installed the memory. I am using an nVidia 790i Ultra SLI motherboard with a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 and Windows Vista.

make sure you set the power to 1.9v and have only one card in for the first boot up and when installing os.

2.0 out of 5 stars Quality Control -- or lack thereof, December 15, 2008
By
This review is from: OCZ OCZ3N1800SR4GK DDR3 1800MHz 4 GB Kit NVIDIA SLI-Ready (Personal Computers)
I've also had a lot of trouble with this RAM on an EVGA NVDIA 790i Ultra SLI mobo w/Intel QX9660 Extreme quad core. My box freezes up frequently -- both during the testing and in actual use. I'm not over-clocking or doing anything extraordinary. It's taken countless hours to test the entire system -- software and hardware -- to isolate the issue. It turns out that one of the sticks fails several of the MemTest86+ tests -- it's being returned. The other stick seems to be stable at 1800 MHz - 1.925v and the problem has been resolved by removing the faulty OCZ stick.

I've not had good luck with other OCZ memory products. This seems to be a quality control issue. Tech support is little help -- their strategy seems to be to blame everything else in the system -- though they will replace it after you have spent all the time proving that it is their product that's causing the problem.

Bought 4 sticks of this for my new 790i Ultra motherboard and got nothing but memory errors. Windows will not load and system hangs with this memory installed. Check for compatibility with you motherboard vendor, don't trust the memory manufacturer.

Order these reports for the month of October for the price of 130 $ and gave me delivery date for the month of 23 November 2009 to January, 2010 Today I note with great surprise that changed my delivery date for the December 21, 2009 - February 16 , 2010 and $ 130 this article is already in the 171 $ for this reason I can not cancel my original order for 130 $ if I do not have to pay 171 $ when available. THIS IS A GREAT ABUSE,again changed the date of release for the day December 30, 2009 a day March 1, 2010 for feet not cancel my order I did not buy a 130 $ to 171 $ feet pay very abusive
