Works fine, but image is misleading,

I bought this from Amazon instead of from NewEgg because I thought it was a solid piece and different from what I found elsewhere. The product image at Amazon.com is misleading.
It's actually two pieces that fit on either side of the drive, just like the one you'd find at Newegg. However, Amazon charges $25 for it and Newegg charges $10. Needless to say, I wish I had compared model numbers as well. I could have saved myself the $25, as I already had one that is basically the same.

Does not fit a Mac Pro,

This product is criminally overpriced. It's just two pieces of bent sheet metal with holes cut into it. It does not adapt my OCZ Vertex drive to the Mac Pro, so it definitely does not perfectly convert a 2.5" product to a 3.5" product. Icy Dock does it perfectly for the same price. Buy that instead.

Almost criminal what these adaptors are going for when a five dollar package of velcro will install many of these drives.. Plus with velcro you can mount your drive in many other places..
