This is the fastest flash drive I've seen. I've tried about 8 different models of various brands looking for a drive fast enough for my needs. Most came in at about 4MB/s write speed or slower. The ATV consistently does 9MB/s write speed and almost 30MB/s read.

The rubber coating is both a blessing and a curse. It makes the drive very shock resistant and effectively waterproof, but it also makes it considerably bigger than most flash drives. In addition to the extra pocket space needed, this could be an issue if your USB ports are close together and you're trying to use more than one of them.

The cap retainer is a nice touch. It's so easy to misplace loose caps. This gives you an attached place to keep the cap while the flash drive is in use.

This item works great. I have had numerous other flash drives and none can keep up with this one.

I work in the environment and have dropped my drive in dirt, water and on pavement. It keeps on going because of the protective covering and rubber cap.

You will never be disappointed in this flash Drive.

I've used this memory stick on three different computers with three significantly different configurations and it worked flawlessly each time.

It is a slim unit with a colorful, rubberized casing built to hold up to more rugged transport and use.

Great price for a 4GB unit from a trusted company (OCZ).

Purchased the ATV USB Flash Drive 4GB from Amazon, and as usual no problems there.

Usage - I basically use this flash drive everyday to back up documents from work and even at home. So it has been in constant use since I got it.

PROS - The flash drive is VERY fast and compatible with both XP and Vista. I use it on both operating systems daily. When I say fast, it is one of the fastest loading devices I have personally come across when you plug it into your USB port. It instantly reads the flash drive...no exaggeration!
The transfer of data is normal, a bit faster from the older flash drives I have had, but not too outstanding from the norm for me.

I have not tested it out to see if it is Waterproof or how durable it is. As far as it goes, it is very sturdy and feels durable.

CONS - Really none, except I would have preferred to have a neck strap etc for the flash drive. But either way I realize that a lot of flash drives are starting to be packaged without it, so no really fuss to be honest.

ADVICE - Buy one with more space! They work really well!

Poorly designed. The item is a flash drive in a rubber sleeve. USB broke solder points under minimal use. I had to hyper extend the drive to make and keep connection long enough to retrieve data. Thankfully it wasn't full.
