It's only an acrylic dome so these isn't much to say.
It arrived before the estimated date and was in perfect condition. Well packaged.
I bought it as a weather shield for an IP camera I bought from Amazon
Foscam FI8918W Wireless/Wired Pan & Tilt IP/Network Camera with 8 Meter Night Vision and 3.6mm Lens (67° Viewing Angle) - White NEWEST MODEL (replaces the FI8908W)
but I didn't consider the reflection of the IR night vision LED's on the Foscam camera.
When it's dark and I turn on the infrared LED's, they reflect off the inside of the dome and night vision is useless.
This is my screw up, not the dome's.
I still use it, just not at night.

I haven't bought one yet, but I am certainly tempted to.

If the diameter is 10 inches, then the radius is 5 inches, just about right for the purpose outlined below.

If you are doing lights for a video, or are involved in videomaking in any big way, you know how important it is to light up the scene with soft lights that are very even in intensity. At first glance, this dome looks like it is transparent, and could be mounted on a small plate of acrylic that is cut just right so it slips perfectly into the barndoors of a PAR38 can (these things often have a 75 or 100 watt lamp or bulb in them). The result ought to be a nice, soft glow, and less expensive than a professional softbox costing hundreds of dollars. (It obviously doesn't slide into the mouth of a PAR38, the way it is, you will have to modify it, perhaps by epoxying the dome onto a suitable piece of acrylic that slips into the can.)
