WordPerfect is the best word-processing software available. I have used it for decades to write appellate briefs and legislation, which I review and mark up with extensive deletions and insertions. The unique reveal-codes feature is indispensable. The ability to create PDF (portable document format) files directly is a great time saver. By comparison, Word is user-hostile, clunky, and inefficient. The best new feature of WordPerfect 4X is the ability to OCR (optical character read) PDF files directly, including scanned PDF files. The three-pack is perfect for users with an office computer, home computer, and laptop.
