Received this particular skin case for my BB 8900. My first impression was that the surface/material was too slippery as I expected more of a "frictional" grip (a subjective comment).

However, the larger issue was that during fitment, the silicon case slipped on too easily and the final appearance and function produced a very, very poor fit in terms of the skin case. There is too much slop all around the phone. The case seems to be designed for the Bold (a larger phone) even though I double checked my order and the original packaging. The case simply will not work for my 8900 and I will return it.

Not happy at all.

So my boyfriend got a new Blackberry 8900 and needed a case! So I knew that he wanted something durable like plastic but a little soft. It was alright, since he doesn't drop his phone as often as I do. Well it has lasted two years and counting! Although there was a slight slit on the top, but other than that it was fine!

P.S: It kinda get's gross, because of the oil in your hands and when you're talking on the phone gets in the back of it. So just remember to baby wipe it often!

The only issue that i have with this case is its loose fit. It's not as snug as it should be but is not getting any worse with wear. The positive trade-off for this is that it is thick compared to other cases of this kind. I am prone to dropping my phone and it protects great, even if it falls on its corners. Everything else about it is good though, i would buy this case again. In fact i bought two more as back up, I'm still working on the first one. I've had it for about four months. All of the input holes line up perfectly.

I have an 8900 BB, and when matched with this holster: (Blackberry OEM Leather Case Holster with Swivel Clip for Blackberry Curve 8300 8310 8320 8330 Black), also from amazon, they work well together, no stretching needed, no struggling to free the phone or missing a call because of a tight fit. The case also has a nice grippy feel to the silicone, which helps prevent some drops (very nice feature), it makes the phone better to hold. The phone is slippery when it's out of the case. Great case. I will give it a 5* rating if it holds up over time.

I am still using the first case that I bought in my original review, over a year ago. These cases are amazing.

Eh it's ok . . is right. It's not as nice as I wish it could have been. I have yet to find a nice Case for the 8900 ... :(

This item wasn't great and it wasn't horrible. Really it is stuck in the doldrums of mediocrity. I only paid $00.1 for it and like $2.97 for shipping. If i payed any thing more than $5 total i would have probably sent it back. It does have a tad slippery texture and has a tad of a loose fit. However, it is worth every last cent I spent on it. For $3.00 I love the case.

I bought this cover for my BB 8900. It has held up well with daily use. It seems to be of the same quality of the more expensive covers I have seen from the carriers or major brands. After a few months of usage my phone is still very well protected. Worth every penny I spent (and saved).
