I was a little hesitant because of the price, but this cable works fines. I really don't mind the lack of wasteful packaging... as long as the cable works - which it does.

Simple cable worked just fine with my Samsung Gravity.
Had to download the software for my computer to recognize the phone from the samsung website, but that's a different issue not related to the functionality of the cable.
