The monitor stand was exactly as advertised. I was looking for something to put my tv on in my bedroom that I could also fit the cable box underneath. It worked perfectly and matched my mahagony dresser well.

Received in 2011. Color is a medium walnut shade. Warm and inviting.
I did not realize that this had to be put together. Luckily the instructions were short and it was together in less than 15 minutes. We bought this to put a laptop on so we could see the screen at the normal height, and the separate keyboard could slide under the stand. The measurements turned out to be perfect and it's working out great.

I needed some sort of stand/riser so that a dvd player and Roku could sit underneath a fairly large flat panel TV, and this product does the trick. The stand was easy to assemble and seems to be quite sturdy underneath the TV's 68 pounds. It's definitely dark brown (not black as mentioned in another review) and comes very close to matching the color of my TV cabinet. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
