Really high quality luggage. Sturdy and well designed; lots of grab-handles. Pay attention to your airline's carry-on dimensions. This bag is borderline carry-on for a lot of airlines. Technically, the actual measurements are larger than the mfr states. The wheels stick out a little too far --- great for packing, not for fitting into an overhead compartment on a smaller jet. At 11x14.5x23 (measured with the protruding wheels) it doesn't meet United's (or a lot of other airlines) dimension requirements (9x14x22), but I luckily didn't overpack and could squash it flat enough (9") to stuff it in. Wheels "just" fit (14" width dim. is actually 14 1/2") and could still close overhead compartment door. Close call. C'mon OGIO, you make great luggage --- if you say the bag is 10x14x22 that's what it SHOULD be---including the wheels!!!

The title says it all. This bag is built like a brick house.

The bag's zippers - which are traditionally a carry-on's Achilles heal - are thick and have resisted being mashed (and thus unzip-able.) Some of the stitching is triple stitched, the rest is double stitched. There are handles all over this bag so you can grab it from any angle (pulling it out of a jammed overhead bin or from among a mass of other bags at the baggage claim.)

Bottom line - This is the tank of bags. I have successfully flown hundreds of thousands of miles with this suitcase - it still zips and it still rolls smoothly when my Tumi, Mandarina Duck and Samsonite bags have failed.

As long as OGIO keeps making bags like this, I won't buy from another company.

It replaced a similar sized Samsonite that died after 15 years. Its first trip was overseas and fit nicely on three different overhead bins. Appears to be durable. I do not like that the outside zippered pockets are too small for regular reading material.
Delivery was quick with Amazon premium.

This is the best and toughest bag I have ever own. I purchased it a whim because it looked like a brown back pack and I loved the skateboard wheels. Six years later and traveling all over Europe and the Caribbean this bag has clocked thousands of miles and it still hasn't broken a sweat. And there’s plenty of room inside. Only thing is the bag is slightly longer than airline carry on requirements (by 1 inch). Of my many flights with this bag I've only had a problem once where I couldn't close the door of the overhead luggage bin.

I ordered two of these (one for me, one for my husband) and we both love, love, LOVE this suitcase. My husband says (every time he packs) he is just amazed at the amount of stuff he can fit in this bag... and it still counts as a carry-on (with Delta, anyway). I love mine too, very smart bag, easy to pack, easy to grab (lots of handles), and judging by my husbands last Ogio Layover, it should last me (us) for years to come...

If I had to say something negative, it is that the front pocket is not large enough for a magazine...

The word "backpack" is a mistake (thankfully). This is not a backpack, has no straps like a backpack and I cannot figure out why it is labeled as a "backpack.". It is a carry-on sized suitcase.

This is my favorite bag from Ogio. My last Ogio Layover was stolen (growl) so it was a bitter replacement. I can easily pack several days into it with gym clothes and at least one pair of shoes. Sometimes I take off with this bag with a weeks worth of clothing without hesitation. It fits. The front pouches are also convenient for the stuff TSA likes to look at.
The only reason for 4/5 stars is the handle. They improved the material of the handles to a more sturdy, stout aluminum and it telescopes out in a single stage where many bags have a two stage telescoping handle. What I do not like is the shape of the handle where you hold it. It feels weird and opposite of ergonomic. When I turn my hand upside down, it feels completely good but the way I carry it, it feels off and not ergonomic. Not a deal breaker for me, but I wish the engineers that designed it would have asked someone to try to use it before putting it on the market.

Great bag. Has multiple compartments so things can be segregated, there are two zippered compartments on the inside. Bag is also expandable.

This is an excellent roller for carry-on travel needs. It's the perfect size. It is well-constructed. It's fairly simple but includes functional features. This is my go-to 1-3 day travel bag. I have several OGIO bags, and this is one of my favorites. All of my OGIO's are well-made with quality materials and hardware. This bag is no exception. This is a good choice for a frequent traveler in search of a solid, dependable roller.

My husband has now had this bag for years and still loves it. He travels all the time for work and the only thing that needed replacing was the wheels which he was able to do. Great Bag!!!!
