My son is 4 years old now. We live in NYC. Last winter, we bought him a set of NNAT, OLSAT books from BrightKids. We spent about 3 months getting him comfortable with these materials. It did made a big difference, and he scored 99%. We are trilled!

I've used this book alongside the practice OLSAT questions with my four-year-old and have found it helpful. It has brief summaries before each new section to help the parent prepare his/her child. It is somewhat awkward to have to work with two books (neither of which rest flat on a table, unfortunately) but it does facilitate a real-life practice scenario of an adult sitting apart from the child, asking questions.
