It was amazing to see the energy that was displayed by this man throughout a whole performance; however, the good part about it is this was clearly not a performance at all, it was ministry. A lot of people criticize Kirk Franklin for being to far into the secular world with his energy, but this man O'landa Draper is obviously vivaciously ecstatic for Christ!

O'landa Draper brought an energy to his music ministry that is not easily described! Labeled at one time as the "M.C. Hammer of Gospel," he was able to deliver the gospel in a way that captivated the congregation! This video is great...renditions of "I need Thee" and "It is Well with My Soul" pay tribute to the old spirituals, while songs like "Stand Up for Right," "Lift the Savior Up," and "God has it all in Control" offer a more contemporary gospel feel. O'landa was an asset to gospel music, and will be sorely missed. I highly recommend this video. Enjoy!
