I purchased a house with a built in 48" grill. Has a rotisserie, the shaft was here but the forks were AWOL. The shaft is .70 inches in diameter; I didn't think that any replacement forks would fit on it. To my surprise, these did! The collar is substantial, the screw is at least adequate and has a large enough grip to enable fastening securely on the shaft. They are heavy, well made forks. I've ordered a second set in case I want to spin two pieces of meat at the same time.

PRO:
As other reviewers write, these are heavy duty. I particularly like the way it attaches. The collar is about 1.5" with the screw set away from the forks. The set screw remains clear and accessible when doing a whole chicken. The finish makes cleaning easy. CON: The distance between tines is too small - 2.25". I do not like to puncture the breast when doing whole chicken, lets the juices out and the forks conduct heat. Not too significant using the infrared burner but the breast is a bit overdone and dry by the time the dark meat is right. My original Thermador forks have a wide spacing of 3.25". I use one of them for the breast end and one of these, with the nice set screw, for the other. Truss the critter leg and wing end. BTW: Season the day before. Cover with a processing cap and refrigerate. The seasoning permeates the bird.

Great Addition,

Got these as an addition to the forks that came with the Weber rotisserie. Now these are used as primary and the originals are backup. Great construction, quality, and price.
