Fresh Wave really works! We are a small in home cattery with four adult cats and a couple of litters a year. When we run low on Fresh wave, you can really tell the difference! It's a bit pricy, but well worth the money.

My family and I recently moved into a "non-smoking apartment" to discover that the previous renter did smoke, but only in the master bedroom. My husband and I tried everything in the book to remove the horrid odor, from leaving the window open until freezing weather prohibited it, washing the walls and ceilings multiple times with all sorts of different solutions, steam-cleaning the (new) carpet, using air purifiers, and trying several odor-removing aerosol sprays. NOTHING worked. I honestly didn't think that the Fresh Wave Crystal Gel would work either, but bought it on a whim, thanks to a gift card. I was *amazed* at how much better the bedroom smelled after the gel sat out for only one day! It didn't cover up the odor like other products, but actually worked to reduce it. Because I'm very sensitive to tobacco smoke, I had been sleeping on the floor of my daughter's bedroom. After putting this gel in the master bedroom, I was able to sleep comfortably in my own bed without getting congested or waking up with a pounding headache. Wow, wow, wow!!

Fresh Wave says that the gel will work for a month or two depending on the conditions of the room. Ours lasted about a month, at which point the smoke odor started to return (we think that it's seeping out of the dry wall). We are planning on buying a refill as we're so impressed with this product. My only disappointment is the cost - it's definitely on the more expensive end, but worth it for a good night's sleep.

Was a little surprised at the product's smell. Mainly a Pine Sol fragrance. I will have to wait a bit to see if this does anything.
