These are my all time favorite booties. About 5 years ago I made the jump to 5mm booties. I've been buying the XCEL 5mm split-toe. I like the O'Neill Mutant 6/5/4 better. They're warmer and easier to get in and out of. I was worried about them being so thick that I'd lose the feel of the board, and I do believe I felt that during my first session in them, but since then I've only notice how warm and comfy they are.

things were super nice!! use um to walk from my place two blocks away to beach. Feel like slippers on your feet. No issues with leakage in the water. Very warm. Gripped that board like no tomorrow. Def recommend um if you can handle booties in the first place

They're great, if you wear a 11.5 a size 12 is perfect. The only thing I could see wrong with these is that the pocket for the big toe is a bit tight for me, and restricts circulation a little, other than that PERFECT!

These boots are great, after being warned by fellow employees about zipper boots I decided to try these. The velcro sides give these boots an edge over other non-zipper style boots because it allows for a tighter fit above the ankle making them fit comfortably while wearing a wetsuit. I am returning them because I ordered a 5, thinking that these were unisex boots, I am a size 6. They fit me just as a typical women's five would fit, and my co-worker tried them on (she is a 5) and they fit perfectly. Great choice for dive boots, they do run true to womens shoe sizes!

These booties are durable and keep my feet extremely warm in 55-59 degree water. I bought them to replace my Rip Curl booties that were falling apart after 6 months of twice a week use. The O'Neill's are great quality, very comfortable and have great grip on the board. They will definitely last longer than the crappy Rip Curl's that I had. I can't wait until winter gets here to really try them out.
