I bought this for my husband. He tends to get cold when we participate in water sports, even if he's wearing a wet suit. This is thicker than a "skin" shirt so it was good for him. Plus, he put this on under a 3 mil wet suit between dives and it kept him warm through the day. I would recommend this product for water sport activities. May want to size up, although it fit well, it was just a bit tight thru the neck area.
