Got the Graphite and Black XXL Short Sleeve Crew 24-7's. The fits were totally different even though same size. Was totally surprised at the vast difference. Graphite was significantly looser yet still snug on the love handles (acceptable) compared to the Black version. Black was WAY TOO tight all around. Shipping the Black back to Amazon. Length was good on both. Myself: 52 inch chest and 40/41 inch waist.

First off, for sizing, I normally wear a L-large but ordered up a size like people suggested and am glad I did. The shirt was a little loose at XL, but not as loose as a regular loose T-shirt that was size large and fit fine. So I would recommend ordering a size up if you want it to look like a regular T-shirt.

Another reviewer on here states that it's only UV-15, but my shirts have stickers and permanent tags that both say UV 50+. I have yet to put a UV meter test on it, but I took O'neill's word for it and I didn't burn after a couple of hours at a time in Hawaii at the beach, so I really don't think it's only UV-15 or I would have burned. I did, however, get sunblock stains on my shirt from having to cover my arms and neck, so it is prone to that.

I am very satisfied with the shirts I got here and would recommend them to anyone who wants to wear a shirt to the beach, or a perfect shirt to work out in.

Great shirt - not too tight. Dries fast. Color stays. Can pass as a normal shirt, and on top of that you can go in the water with it and it doesn't stick to you and dries extremely fast. Great buy.

Comfortable, washes and dries well, and seems to protect from the sun. I'm a big guy, and the XXXL was plenty big and has kept its sizing through multiple washes and dries. I'd buy another one if I needed it.

Normally wear XL. but got 2XL and was a great, somewhat loose fit. Loved this for the beach -- no sunscreen and no sunburn!!!

wrigths: This product was an excellent choice, i bought it thanks to a friend who recommended me this product. It's very confortable, and very light, it doesn`t weight to much, it doesn't stick to your body when you are wet, so it allows yo to have a good time once you are out of the water. The material use for this product is excellen aswell it has long life. the color doesn't go away no matter how much you use it or bath with it.

Wrongs: the only problem i found about this product is that the size numer runs very small, in order to adquire your size, you'll need to purchase a bigger size than you are, for example, if you are medium size, you'll need to buy a large size, in order to fit you well.

after all, its a great product, i asure you you'll enjoy using it.

I'm a large man, 6'1" and 350 lbs. I have a size 58/60 chest and a 46 waist.

I order the XXXL in black and the fit was spot on. The length was great, and it feels very good in the water and dries quickly. The shirt does not stick to you and it is very comfortable.

Be sure to hand wash(I used the Hand Wash Function on my HE washer) and let it drip dry as instructed. Unfortunately, after my first wear, mine accidently got thrown in the dryer. The biggest effec this had was on the length of the shirt, and if you are a big man with a long torso, you know how frustrating a short shirt can be. Fortunately, after two to three more hand washes and drip dires, the length returned to near original length.

If you are a large guy looking for a rash guard shirt and have been scared away by reviews that claim to order up a size or two, you will not have that issue with this shirt. You can order your normal size with confidence.

The product description (as of 24 July) claims:

"Quick Drying, Relaxed Comfortable Fit, 5oz Poly/Spandex.
Machine washable, line dry, no bleach"

The "Blue" shirt (looks dark blue) I received requires Hand Washing, does not dry quickly, and the XL size is barely big enough (I normally wear a medium to large shirt depending on brand).

Minus 2 stars as I purchased this shirt instead of a cheaper speedo based on the inaccurate "Machine washable" description. I don't have time to hand wash "delicates" such as this so into the wash it goes and I'll hope for the best.

The shirt is somewhat lighter weight than Rash Guards I have worn in the past. I'm not sure if that is a negative or positive. I like the feel, but wonder how well it will last.

Regarding the SPF 50 versus 30. The shirt says SPF 30 but has a cardboard tag that says UV SPF 50. I'm not sure which is true or if it is only SPF 50 for UV. That said I wore it to the beach for a day and did not get burnt so it's SPF good enough for me.

Overall an OK not great shirt that should get me through the summer but I'll most likely be shopping for something machine washable next year.

Ordered a large navy blue one and it actually runs true to size as another reviewer mentioned and is not tight at all. Order your size unless you're fat.

This was a great buy . a great fitting shirt and really sporty looking. Easy to care for and super sun protection. Very pleased!
