I usually wear size 6 in O'Neill wetsuits but chose a size 4 in the vest to make sure it didn't ride up.

positives:
the vest is as low profile as a functional lifevest can be,
very cool graphics
gives added warmth (might be a drawback in warmer water/climate)
non chafing at neck/armpit

only negative:
I would have included a short 4" zipper at the back of neck or two snaps at neck/shld to make it easier to pull over the head. It hurts my head/hair each time I put it on/take it off.
