good but not great,

This review is from: OOTS Deluxe Lunchbox with Containers, Blue (Kitchen)
While the containers are a good size, the lids have indented finger grips, making it very difficult to fit much of anything in the little boxes (you cant fill them). The containers are flimsier than I'd hoped, and a sandwich wont fit in a container or in the box easily. Also, the rubber plastic coating is already peeling off the blue box. That said, it's still a cute lunch box, and I do use it almost every day. BUT NOT FOR SOUP since the containers are not leak proof (I've tried).

perfect concept, flawed design,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: OOTS Deluxe Lunchbox with Containers, Blue (Kitchen)
I've had this lunchbox for a few months now. I love that it's BPA free, and I honestly get compliments on it all the time. But the design is flawed in several ways:-The lid of the lunchbox needs to be pushed into the bottom section by brute force. I've kind of figured out how to do it quickly and efficiently, but I can imagine it making some children want to cry. -The previous reviewer is correct about the indented container lids. This is supposed to help you lift up the containers from the bottom of the lunchbox, but it means that you lose space inside the containers. It doesn't bother me too much though because the containers actually hold quite a bit. -Probably the biggest problem is that the container lids do not fit onto the containers super snugly. This means that things like yogurt and soup will spill, and that you can't actually use the indented lids to pick up the containers because the pieces will just fall apart. But I've solved both of these problems with a simple heavy-duty rubberband over each container. Yes this product has some problems, but it easily earns 4 stars by the way it has helped me regulate and organize what I eat at work everyday.

cute but with flaws,
This review is from: OOTS Deluxe Lunchbox with Containers, Blue (Kitchen)
I bought this lunch box last week and have used it every day since then. It's really cute and I do get a lot of compliments. I love that I have enough containers for my lunch and snacks throughout the day and everything tucks nicely into the lunch box. I also like that I can fit silverware and a napkin underneath the lid. That being said, there are flaws with this design. Like the previous reviewer, the plastic is peeling from the container, possibly from having to shove the lid back into place. It can be a little frustrating and I can see kids really having a problem with this. I wish the snack container lids fit more securely and will use the recommendation to secure a rubberband around the container. I noticed that when I had placed something heavier in the entree container I was unable to lift the container out without pulling the container lid off. I had to oh so delicatley tilt the lunchbox and ease the container out, hoping that the lid didn't come off or all the contents spill out as I had it at a precarious angle. Would I recommend this product, yes, but not at the $40 pricetag, just because there are considerable flaws.
