It has some flaws, but also good art and the tables you need in a game,
By Anibal Madeira (Lisboa Portugal) - See all my reviews
This review is from: *OP Vampire: The Dark Ages Screen (Paperback)
This screen contains four panels in black and white from John Bolton; two of the pieces are very, very impressive. Although good art, they aren't original pieces; if you own the rulebook and the Baali sourcebook you already know the pieces.
The information contained in the back of the panels are quite complete. You can run a game without resorting too much to the main rulebook. It contains a huge weakness - it has no booklet! Almost all the screens I bought (even from the same company) had a booklet with extra material (a story, background, reference sheet, extra rules or art). Compared to modern standards it's extremely flimsy, and even for 90's pattern it isn't very sturdy. Nice collector piece for the old version of Vampire The Dark Ages. |
