I love sparkly nail polish, but in the short time that I've been painting my nails (as a recovering nail biter), I've been mostly using topcoats with sparkle in them. I was surprised to paint this on and get a full sparkly coating happening on my nails. No base color other than a clear coat needed. This is a party on your nails and is a great color to go with almost any look. I have another bottle from this line that I will review when I try it out, but I'm sure it will be just as sparkly and fabulous.

This would be a fabulous stocking stuffer idea for almost anyone who likes to paint their nails.

Jamie

The best way to keep it from chipping, or peeling off, is first use mild polish remover on nails to get any oil or dirt off (I have also been told to rough up the nails abit every other week (use a buff bar and use the even out side but do not push hard or do for to long.). After I use the remover and let the nails dry, I use a good base coat, one that helps hold the polish. I let the base dry for 10 min's or so, then put on 1 THIN coat and let it dry 20min's or more then Put on JJa second Thin coat of the polish. After 20+ min's I put on a good top coat, which protects the polish, gives a nice shine and takes away that sand paper feel. You need to put on thiner coats and let it dry longer between coats when using glitter polish. Also it helps to use 100% acetone remover, got mine at Walmart, to make it easer then reg or even normal acetone polish remover.
Also, you can use a thin coat of colored polish after the base coat and under the glitter to give a little more depth. With this glitter you can use almost any shade. Such as bronze, red, blue , purple, etc. Use light, dark or anything in-between.
Sapora for OPI also makes some nice glitters.

I don't know if the bottle I bought was old. I put on two layers and a topcoat, the next day they peeled right off!!!! So I thought maybe I would try it without the top coat and it still peeled off! I am really bummed because I always use OPI polish and I have never had this problem. I am going to return this polish.....or attempt. Hopefully the people won't think I am crazy for returning it.

I love glitter nail polish of any kind and even though this didn't appear to be the same color as the picture shows, it is still a pretty color. It actually is not as light as shown in picture, it is a dark mixture of blue, purple, and gold. It is really eye catching color though and as with any other nail polish it chips after so many hand washings, shower, etc. ;(

I LOVE this polish! Under the right light, the flecks of purple, gold and blue sparkle like a diamond! I've had several compliments regarding this polish. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys glitter. It will fit in well with the up and coming holiday season. :)

So the color was not what I wanted, I thought it was going to be a pink dominant sparkle, but it's actually very dark, a lot of gold with purple and blue, so the picture is very decieving and it wouldn't work with the design I wanted to do, HOWEVER this color is very beautiful, instead of being a cute princess I went a different route, it's still very girly but has an edgy side to it, I am in love with it, if you wanted a pink sparkly polish, this isn't it, but it is a very nice polish. It came in a box that was a little banged up from the shipping but was filled with foam stuff and wrapped in bubble wrap so the nail polish was in perfect condition

I have bought a huge amount of OPI Nail polish and Sparklelicious was quite a bit more costly than the norm but it is beautiful. I mix a lot of sparkly polishes to get the most bling out of them and this item has the bling and the sparkle and I am, though not happy at the price, terrifically happy with the product. I have just purchased my THIRD bottle because I want to have 'back-up' in the event this is discontinued. This is my favorite of them all (and I've bought a huge amount of polishes from Amazon) and anyone that gives this less than FIVE stars must not like bling; 'cause this is truly gorgeous!
Thanks
Sherrie H.

I had this put on at a salon and loved it..but like others in the review found it peeled off or chipped. when I did need to remove it, it took numerous cotton balls and remover to get off...gritty texture....why is it 2x more expensive than other OPI products? Or even other nail polish from Burlesque line?
