Great color but becasue its a matte finish it does chip easily.

The picture also shows the polish being blue but like I said it looks purple up front but it's a blue once on the nails.
purple
It looks purple with red flakes in the bottle, but goes on a pretty dark and great navy blue.

I bought this polish at Target yesterday. I was expecting it to be a deep purple, judging by the bottle, but instead got a rich, mysterious indigo, with aquatic undertones, and hazy purple glimmer. It reminds me of mermaids and outer space! The first coat was fairly sheer and streaky, but the second coat made it absolutely solid. I am in love with this polish, it's ever better than what I thought I was buying. Also, it's a great alternative to black, highly overrated in my opinion. Go for it! You won't be disappointed.

*I have medium tan skin, the color looks strong yet refined. I truly believe it would flatter any coloring, even guys!

Wrong colour: Purple NOT navy and wrong finish: shimmery and glittery NOT matte. I hated it, would return it if I could!

I was very excited to get this product, I got it and when I get to use it, turns out they sent me a REGULAR Russian Navy, not the Matte one!!! I already have Russian Navy, that's why I was hunting for the matte one because it is a gorgeous shade. So before complaining to the seller, I went to check on the Russian Navy I already owned to compare bar codes and see if they were the same product or not. So I checked, bar codes match, but I notice small differences between both bottles. Turs out, I was sent a counterfeit product!!! this seller sells fake OPI!!

I was super excited when the suede collection came out, even though OPI said that they didn't last as long as regular polishes, I never thought that they would be THAT bad! I can only wear them for about half a day before they start peeling off in huge strips... the colors look great, but what's the use if I can't keep em on??

This polish is a great midnight blue that won't be confused with the "Black Satin" everyone else is wearing so you can make your own unique statement - unless it becomes a trend, of course. But at least you can say "before blue was the new black, I was already halfway through my Russian Navy bottle."

first try - beautiful color but too light after 2 coats. second try - i had a bottle of black polish which i used as a first coat and the opi as the second. looked great! practically black but you can see the blue in the light.

I ordered this nail polish and was excited to try it. After it arrived it looked very purple in the bottle... if it looks purple, it is purple... needless to say I googled the difference between real OPI and fake OPI. Long story short, this person is not selling what they are advertising, I am very upset with this purchase.

When my nail polishe arrived the color did look like a sparkly purple but once I put it on my nails, it's a deep blue. It's ok, not the best but what I didn't like is that on this item the seller is showing a matte appearance which it's not!. I was very disappointed because I was looking for a matte finish look.
The picture also shows the polish being blue but like I said it looks purple up front but it's a blue once on the nails.
