I like this shade better than the more well-known Lincoln Park After Dark because it is more of a deep purple. Lincoln Park After Dark actually looks black. I find that deep purple is more flattering to the skin and doesn't "age" your hands.
However, since this is an older shade, it doesn't come in the pro-wide brush (which cuts down polish application time by half), and the consistency of this polish is very thin. You need two thick coats or three regular ones because after two coats, some streaks will show through. As a result, it takes more time to dry and you might get smudges if you try to do anything while waiting.
Overall I would give it a 5 in terms of shade but a 2 in terms of formulation so I gave it three stars. I probably would not repurchase unless OPI reformulated it.

I love this brand of polish but like this color. It's very dark. In some light the purple is more evident, but it usually looks black. Which is fine, but I thought it would be more purplish.

yes its dark but it doesn't look black. I wanted dark but not "goth looking". This shade is perfect
