5.0 out of 5 stars Can also be used as neck/cervical support on upper car seat!
I have a problem with my neck muscles after being at work in front of a computer all day. This is the perfect size and shape to but right behind my neck - above my shoulders but slightly below my head and against the upper end of the driver's seat-right where the head-rest meets the top of the seat. Put the flat side against the seat and the rounded side to your neck -...

3.0 out of 5 stars You think you need this but you don't.
I wanted something small and low profile to use in my office chair. Something that wouldn't push me too far forward in my chair or take up too much space. I thought this would be perfect, but it turned out to be problematic because it doesn't move. I bought the original Mackenzie roll (the round one) and that works much better. This is the perfect size and shape to but right behind my neck - above my shoulders but slightly below my head and against the upper end of the driver's seat-right where the head-rest meets the top of the seat. Put the flat side against the seat and the rounded side to your neck - tighten the staps as needed around the back of the car head rest as needed. Relaxes my neck and head muscles and probably would also be somewhat more protection in case of being bumped - to lessen whip lash. Can't hurt and might just help others as it has helped me to relax those muscles while I drive.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect size, August 25, 2009

I am a more petite woman and love the size of this lumbar support. I can't imagine using anything bigger - I don't think there's any way I could sit back comfortably. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay in place on my leather office chair, but it's not a big deal to slide it into place whenever I sit down. Worth the money.

1.0 out of 5 stars uncomfortable, May 14, 2009

I thought that I could strap this item to my body so that no matter where I sat the purpose of the roll would be effective ... however, the roll would only work in one chair (not sofa) ... also, I used it in my car and the roll was too thick/dense to be useful because it was so uncomfortable ... felt like something was digging into my back ... this item should be more versatile and less dense.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect size, September 14, 2010

The McKenzie Slim Line Lumbar Roll is the perfect size to give lumbar support. Others seem to be too much or too little. This one is just right. And I like the ability to remove the cover for washing. I've used it in the car and at home where I sit on the sofa. In the future I plan to take it on a plane - those seats are too uncomfortable. The cushion does not go flat in use. The only thing lacking is some velcro to 'stick' to fabric seats/chairs. The strap helps in some instances, but not all.

I bought both the round and the "D" support and found them either way too large or a tad too large.. Use if you want a deep curve in the spine.

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointed, December 27, 2007
This review is from: OPTP Original McKenzie SlimLine Lumbar Roll - #705 (Misc.)
I purchased this to be used in my car. First of all, the band that comes with this item doesn't keep it flush with the seat so it moves every time I get in and out of the car. Very annoying! Second, it's still too bulky. I returned this item after using for 10 minutes.
