Product Description

Using 2.4GHz digital, the WR150 wireless, all-weather rock speakers send quality sound up to 300 feet range unobstructed (may vary depending on the environment). Easy to setup, just plug your music source (iPod, MP3 player, CD-Player) into the wireless transmitter (include RCA and stereo audio input cables) run the speakers where you want them and you'll be listening to your favorite tunes in the back yard or patio. (Note: Transmitter is wireless; speaker are wired together via speaker cable.)

I originally purchased these speakers as a birthday gift for a friend. She uses them outside by her pool and they work great. Other than having to change channels every now and then when static starts, the sound is fine. My husband liked them so well I bought him a set for his birthday. Although we really like them, he's discovered several things about them. When we use our laptop in the living room (where the wireless speaker transmitter is located by the stereo) we have to shut off the transmitter before the WIFI will work on our laptop. For the most part, these speakers are great for what we wanted. And for the price, we couldn't find anything we liked as well.

Got this pair of wireless speakers for use in the yard. After initial fiddling around, got the reception to work reasonably at 50 feet or so, seemed like a good buy. Then the power supply died, or at least thats my interpretation. Pressed the power button for the primary speaker and the speaker would pop and then fade out, power light going out. Happened over and over, could not get the speaker to turn on and stay on.

So I had to return it - thru Amazon, not the OSD people, which meant I couldn't get an exchange thru OSD, had to return the defective speakers to Amazon and NOT for a full refund, because it was 5 weeks after we got the product. Not happy at all with the manufacturer. Less than pleased with Amazon. The speaker was defective and the refund policy was not good enough (misrepresented to me by the Amazon employee who said I would be getting a full refund). Will not buy from OSD in future and it negatively affects my view of Amazon as well.
