The appendices have been improved quite a bit, including re the self-inspection checklist, addresses, phone numbers, and internet info. Even the foreword (by Alan McMillan, President of the National Safety Council, and former OSHA Regional Administrator) has been updated. As a matter of interest, many companies have purchased multiple copies of the book, in some cases providing one to their safety committee. Thank you-- the prospective buyer-- for your interest. I offer a special thanks to those who purchased an earlier printing, and to the ASSE, AIHA, and other reviewers (organizations, publications and individuals) who have been so kind. I hope that you have a safe and healthful day, and that you find my book to be helpful and interesting!
Respectfully, Rick Kaletsky (author)

How can a book on OSHA be interesting?,
By L. N. "Mac" McIlmoil, CAE (Jacksonville Beach, FL United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: OSHA Inspections: Preparation and Response (Hardcover)
I wouldn't have thought reading about OSHA, or any government regularity program, could be made palatable. Mr. Kaletsky proved me wrong. He uses anecdotes and humor to give the reader clear descriptions of his topics. The book is more practical than academic. It is a tool that can be used rather than a title to leave on a shelf to impress an OSHA inspector. It makes you think safety rather than just regulations. I highly recommend the book.
