It works, but you'd better have time to wait for order fulfillment,

Simple enough, this is a tool to hold the Honda crankshaft still while you (uuUNNGGHH!) reef on the nut (with a breaker bar and 5' long cheater!) on the end to get it off. You have to do this when changing the timing belt or water pump. The tool works.
What doesn't work is Toolgophers order fulfillment process. Yeah, I got the tool, eventually, some two+ weeks after I ordered it. The tool was supposedly in stock when I ordered it. No replies to email. Nada. I was about to contact my credit card company to remove the charges when I got notice from Fedex that my package had been shipped. Bottom line: don't order from Toolgopher. The tool works, but buy it elsewhere.

Got me out of a bind while doing a T/belt on an 05 Pilot in the driveway. Strong and is machined well.

This tool is very good quality and worked like a champ for removing the crankshaft pulley on my 2002 honda civic coupe. Excellent purchase for the money, considering timing belt changes can cost from $500-$800 roughly if you pay someone to do it for you.

Honda crank pulley holding tool,

This tool did what it was designed to do. But it needed some home craftsman modification to work. Initially the tool popped out of the hexagonal hole in the pulley when pressure was applied. (The machining on the tool is not very precise.) A simple fix made it work.
I cut a plug out of wood for the center round hole and drilled a smaller hole in it the size of the ratchet extension rod. That stabilized the tool enough so that it stayed in position during pressure application. I doubt very much if you will pass this information along to your customers.

Must-have for crankshaft pulley removal,

Picked up this tool to help change the belt on the 1997 CR-V (B20B engine). I used two breaker bars--a shorter one on this tool, wedged against the suspension, and the 24" bar with six-point 3/4" air tool socket (only .003" different than 19mm). I heated the bolt with a propane torch for about a minute, and the bolt came off easily. Despite what some service manuals claim, do NOT use a "chain wrench" or you'll tear up the pulley. This tool works in just about Honda engines from 1990 onward, so keep it in your toolbox if you own or plan to work on others in the future.
OTC is an SPX company--SPX manufactures many of the custom automotive tools that the auto manufacturers use at their dealerships, so I knew the quality would be pretty good on this one. And, it is: high quality hardened steel, finished nicely with no roughness or sharp edges.

fits my acura 2004 tsx crank, which leads me to believe it also fits 2004-2008 models. I don't know if it will fit the 2009s or not. If you plan on removing your crank, good luck though. You need like 1000, not 100, 1000 lbs of force to break it, which means 250 lbs of force on a breaker bar with a 4' cheater pole. good luck.

This high quality tool is perfect and just in time. If you are doing a timing belt change on a Honda Accord you MUST HAVE this tool. The crank pulley is far too tight for any other tool. I got it fast and didn't need to waste any work time waiting for it. Definitely a must for anyone planning to do engine work on a Honda.

I was afraid of the shipping, but I ordered one day shipping and it came accordingly. I got it the next business day and I used it to finish the job. Really the only way to get off a Honda/Acura crankshaft, seriously, just buy it, don't wait like I did

This tool costs a little more than the competition but if you enjoy having a well crafted tool that will last for years and take some abuse then this is the tool for you. Cheaper tools that look like they were welded up in somebodies garage will work but they have are no joy to use. i gladly pay a little extra to have a tool that was made with care.
