If you work on older cars you need one of these sets. I borrowed one from my friend and liked it so much I bought my own. Granted OTC went off shore for manufacture it's still a quality tool set. It will seperate parts without ruining the rubber cups. No hammering an antique pickle fork anymore and gouging up everything. Great Deal!

Excellent kit bought from Amazon. I used three of the pullers in this great kit to service my 2002 Hyundai Accent. They all worked perfectly. The Tie Rod and ball joint separators were strong and easy to use. No more big hammer tricks needed, no more torn boots. The largest jaw puller was excellent for pulling the rusty frozen hub off the CV axle. The price for two of the items if paid separately would equal to the whole kit.

I've worked as a mechanic for decades. The quality of this set is remarkable. At this price point it's a steal. This rivals the quality of the factory specific tool kits that I've used. This is the second OTC tool kit I've bought for personal use, and I will not hesitate to buy another as I find a need. These pullers and presses beat the pants off of pickle fork separators commonly found in auto parts stores. Do it right.. get the right tool.

I only used the ball joint separator in this kit so far and it worked very nicely. The tools in this set are of great quality with excellent craftsmanship. I would recommend the kit to anyone who doesn't have any similar tools yet.

After spending some quality time with a ball peen hammer, I decided to order this set. It took me all of 15 minutes to press out two outer tie rod ends and four ball joints. Sure beats using a BFH to break the pressed fittings. The phrase "right tool for the job" comes to mind.Obvious effectiveness aside, I am quite impressed with the weight and quality of the set and its case. Well worth the money.

This is another great OTC product! I purchased this kit to disassemble front end components without the use of a big hammer...lol... The tools worked great for their intended purpose. Well made and easy to use. Another great addition to my tool cabinet!

I purchased this complete kit after debating spending around $50 for the single lever-action tool included in this set. I'm glad that I bought the complete set. The build quality of the tools is extremely solid. My VW Passat has notoriously difficult to remove suspension components due to the geometry of the parts. The result was that I had to put the tool in a bind to attempt to remove the ball joints. The resulting torque could easily have broken a tool that doesn't have a lot of extra strength. Though I dented the lever arm pretty well it managed to do the job. The extra pullers included are well worth having for those situations where you need to try a few approaches to get the job done. I think that this set will pay for itself many more times over the years. Don't get the cheap version at the "Import Tools Store". Get this set. It'll take a beating and get the job done for you. Highly recommended.

while working on yet another back yard project, 2007 mercury, I needed to remove the ball joint. I tried several different pullers, with no success. Because of the urgency of the project, I decided to make an investment, for future uses. The OTC 6295 front end service set, seemed the answer to my situation, and it was. If you've ever spent time using pullers that slip, because they're not quite the right one, or not quite machined to specs, it can make a job much more difficult than it really is. This is a tool set that is worth having, it is very well built, it has a variety of pullers that are easy to use. I would recomend this set to all who like to use the right tools, for the job. Back-yarders or Pros , you'll make the job easier with a set like this.

I purchased this kit after grenading two HF 3 jaw pullers trying to remove ball joints from control arms. What can I say, it works! The kit is a nice selection of pullers in a convenient case.I should have bought it years ago with the money I otherwise spent on cheap tools that broke. |
