This pulley remover and the replacer tool are both required items in your tool box for the Ford's and GM's in your life. I tried various pulley removers for the power steering pump and only this one will get the pulley off correctly and the replacer is the only one that will get it back on for the applications listed. It's slow and tedious but because of this, the pulley doesn't break. It's well made and highly recommended. it is a shame that you and I have to go out and buy specialized tools to get a simple job done, but if you want this job done correctly and much faster than some other options, you will need this tool.

I didn't have this type of puller in my collection of pullers so as a result I could not remove a 1985 Ford F150 power steering pulley. I tried with 2 jaw and 3 jawpullers with heat but this tended to bend the pulley as I pressed forward so I stopped. It took me 5 minutes after I received the OTC puller to get the pulley off.
