This review is from: OTC 7894 Ball Joint Service Adapter for Jeep/Dodge (Automotive)
I have an 07 Jeep Wrangler which is one of the vehicles that this kit is for. Trouble is that the part with the notch cut out (the largest piece) isn't deep enough for use with a stock ball joint as their own instructions describe. Plus it is made out of material that is too thin-walled so the inside diameter is too wide. This allows it to slip off the ball joint lip as it is being pressed into place.
When I buy a special tool that is designed for use with my vehicle, I would expect it to work. Got to wonder if they ever actually tried it before they said it fits.

Great price, great tool, just as described. What else can I say? It gets the job done. It is a must have when replacing the ball joints on my 2001 Jeep TJ.

This is a high quality kit to go with the 7249 ball joint press kit and was just what I needed for my Jeep Grand Cherokee with dana 30 and made a difficult job easy. Just remember the top ball joint presses out upwards and the bottom ball joint presses out downwards! And you'll need a big hammer to get the knuckle off. My upper ball joint was an offset one though and the adapter parts didn't fit, but I could easily remove it with the standard adapters that came with the press.
