This is one of my favorite conditioners (Aveda is the other). I have curly, fine, long hair that I color treat. Talk about abuse! But this conditioner leaves my hair feeling conditioned, not weighed down and smelling great.

Though it's much cheaper to buy direct. $40 for 32 oz vs. this dealer on Amazon charges almost $18 for just 8 oz. You get gouged on Ouidad here.

I have long, color treated/highlighted, spirally curly hair. I have tried many other salon quality formulas for curly hair as well as drug store products and ouidad is the conditioner I keep going back to. You don't have to use much at all and it makes hair feel like silk. It smells great and one bottle will last you about 3 months. It is also safe for color treated hair and packed with natural ingredients. Other people with curly hair compliment me and ask me what products I use and I always tell them about Curl Quencher. I have used this conditioner for a number of years. Although ouidad did change the curl quencher formula I have to say it was only an improvement over the old formula. I refuse to use anything else.

I have super thick, coarse curly hair and this conditioner has actually made it soft with great curl definition! I won't use any other product on my hair again! I wish I had heard about these great products long ago and saved myself tons of money spent on so-so shampoos and conditioners. Even the more pricey salon brands don't even compare to Ouidad. LOVE THIS STUFF!

I use Ouidads Curl Quencher shampo & conditioner, the botanical boost, tress fx, climate control gel, and styling mist. The products work wonders on curls. My hair hasn't looked this good since I was a teenager. I will not use anything else but Ouidad products on my hair.

Im so glad I tired this product.. My curly hair is full of time and my color is so bright... My curls are soo alive.. NO more Frizz... Ps I have thick curly hair... Crazy frizz.) but not anymore... But likes other say its a better deal on HSN. The set is $23 for both ( shampoo * cond) Well IF u want your hair to feel great and be alive try everything in this line they all work!!!!!

Ouidad is a blessing! I wore my hair straight for so many years because my frizzy, curly hair was so hard to work with. That is until I found Ouidad, now I only wear my hair curly and LOVE IT. Yes, the products are on the expensive side, but it is well worth it!

I didn't expect to like this product as much as I do. I've known about Ouidad for years, but I wasn't sure that it would have enough moisture for my 3c hair (for the record, I have everything from 3b to 4a growing from my scalp).
I layered a bit as a leave-in under the Climate Control gel and the result was my best wash and go to date! I had all but given up on wash and go's, but after four years as a natural I have finally found what works for me. I had shine, nice curl definition and more hang than usual. My hair is quite dry and tends to frizz but the Ouidad products left my hair very soft, shiny and defined. I will definitely repurchase! :-)

I purchased this shampoo and conditioner do to all the great reviews I saw on it. Though is is quite expensive if it worked I thought it would be well worth the money. I have long coarse dry wavy to curly hair and have had issues with not getting enough moisture to stay in in my hair especially in the summer. I used this shampoo and conditioner together and later separately thinking the issue could be that it was moisturizing too much either way it resulted in me having greasy hair by the second day and I eventually started having breakouts on my neck shoulders and back were my hair hits on my body. If you are going to try it get the smaller bottle or a sample so you are not throwing your money away like i did.

I had heard of the Ouidad products from a friend who had recommended them. I checked out their site and was interested in buying the products but, found them expensive. I have a lot of curly hair and paying anywhere from $12 to $30 or more for 8oz can be a costly hair care regimen, since 8oz's would only last me 3 or 4 days at the most. Nevertheless, after reading several of the rave reviews here on Amazon, I decided to give Ouidad a try. I had been filled with excitement in anticipation that perhaps I would finally put an end to what feels like a life long quest in search of the perfect product(s) for curly hair. Boy was I wrong!!!! I bought the Ouidad Curl Quencher Shampoo (which was the only thing that worked because how can you go wrong with shampoo?), the Ouidad Curl Quencher Conditioner (I couldn't even pass a comb through my hair easily with this conditioner), the Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel (which provided NO hold whatsoever), and the Ouidad Clear Control Pomade (this combined with the gel which is their recommendation is suppose to give you lustrous soft curls with hold). What I found myself with was a head of greasy (due to pomade), frizzy, lifeless curls - if you could have even called them curls at that stage. Only good thing about this purchase is that they offer a 30 day money back guarantee. However, you do end up losing out on shipping. To sum it all up: don't bother save your money!
