4.0 out of 5 stars A few tips before you order!
I really like this watch. I was trying to decide why I would get this watch vs. any other ovulation kit on the market and basically - I've figured out that the KEY benefit of this watch is that it tells you your 4-5 FERTILE days, BEFORE you Ovulate. The other ovulation kits on the market only tell you when you ovulate and at that time, you're just ending your fertile...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money
Had one of these die on me on Cycle Day 8, which meant I was out for the entire month. The next month, it told me I was entering my fertile phase two days AFTER my ovulation... and I had a 28-day cycle that month, too. OvWatch will mess with your hopes and lie to you outright!

I really like this watch. I was trying to decide why I would get this watch vs. any other ovulation kit on the market and basically - I've figured out that the KEY benefit of this watch is that it tells you your 4-5 FERTILE days, BEFORE you Ovulate. The other ovulation kits on the market only tell you when you ovulate and at that time, you're just ending your fertile period. In order to get pregnant - you have to time it with the fertile period. That is why people have reviewed this so highly.

A few more tips - the sensors dry out and say your skin is too dry - I found that lifting the watch up off your skin a little bit and breathing a hot breath (the kind you'd do when you'd clean your glasses) on the sensor will make it work perfectly each time - the manual doesn't tell you this!

Once it says you are fertile, you don't really have to wear the watch anymore... you just will know from that day - through the next week to be safe, is your fertile period. Also - order the extra sensors when you order the watch because by the time you get your period (if you are not pregnant) you've got to have the sensor on hand in order to start the next cycle on the 1, 2 or 3rd day of your period... not enough time to order off Amazon again! I've been through my 3rd cycle with this watch now and no luck on getting pregnant.... yet....

I was surprised at how well it worked. I recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Expecting Thanks OV watch, November 29, 2011

I was sceptical about this when my wife purchased it. We had been trying for months with no luck. Three months later with the watch she is pregnant. Of course it took me coming home for awkard relations, because the watch said so. But my wife is due soon with 2 baby girls.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very pleased, November 10, 2010

I love the OV watch! I wasn't happy about buying a $45 sensor every cycle. But, It does take alot of guess work out of when your Lh surge is. We tried for 5 months without the watch and 2 months with the watch. It took on our second cycle! I read a review about blowing on the senor( a hot breath like you would on your glasses) when it reads "skin to dry" or "not ready" That works and im very thankfull for that tip.

4.0 out of 5 stars necessary but expensive, October 26, 2010

I was suprised that I only paid $20 for the watch and had to pay $39.99 for the sensor. Not sure if I can afford to keep this up!

1.0 out of 5 stars Would give it a 0, October 13, 2010

See the reviews for the watch. Other than whether or not the watch does anything more than count like the on-line calendars is up for debate but I think the biggest problem is these sensors that can't seem to last long enough to get through a cycle...Even with doing the water trick in their guidebook...Also since the band on the watch is so small, you have to undo it when putting it on/off (lots of fun with one hand) otherwise you run the risk of snapping the little tabs on the sensor which renders the sensor useless.

DONT WASTE YOU MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT OR THE WATCH

4.0 out of 5 stars Shipping error, April 28, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ordered the 3 pack but recieved the 1 pack. I unfortunatly had not read the box and could not return it, so in my own error i did not receive a refund. other than that I've never had any problems with the OV watch until going on vacation and the time change must have done something funny, but it gave me an error for not enough information even though I had been wearing it faithfully every night.
I love this product because it predicts ovulation 5 days early. so it gives me the best chance at pregnancy. though were not pregnant yet this product has done exactly what it's promised to do..pinpoint ovulation and your most fertile days.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fertllity Watch, December 23, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The OV-Watch Sensor Pack (1 Sensor Pack) (Health and Beauty)
I love that this watch tells you when your fertility window is open and its easy to wear. I should of bought this two years ago instead of buying other products that was a waste of time, the only thing is that you have to pay $39.99 for each sensor. You only get one which I think for that price you should at least get two in case something happens to the first one. Anyways I think this is worth getting. I don't have to worry about counting or guessing when I ovulate because the watch does it for me. I just take of my watch when I take showers and then put it back on and it still works. I also like the case that goes with the watch and the sensor is very easy to put on. They give you instructions on how to do it. Anybody who wants to get pregnant should definitely get this sensor and the watch too. I'm very happy that I purchase this product.
