OVER THE DOOR HOOK WITH WOODEN ACCENTS

This is a really nice, sturdy, over the door rack, and the wooden accents make it attractive. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the door that it was intended for. I thought it would be a nice rack to hang hats and coats when we walk in the front door where there is a door that goes from the foyer into the garage. Unfortunately, both the front door and door leading to the garage have an extra thickness, so the rack doesn't fit. There were no measurements in the description and I assumed it would fit any door. The measurements are 20" wide by 1-5/8" deep. Make sure the door isn't thicker than 1-1/2" to 1-5/8". I have other hooks that do fit these doors (one holds a wreath), so I don't know why they couldn't have made it 2" deep. I'll still use it on an inside door, such as the walk-in closet or bathroom.

I got this for our recently remodeled master bathroom--to me it makes more sense than towel bars, which don't hold many towels. This fits the bill perfectly, holding bathrobes and at least four or five towels at the same time. Door shuts nicely, very sturdy, perfect! Now I want two more...

This product is great! It's stylish and sturdy, and is currently holding seven of my purses (several tote bag-style and several smaller size) with room to spare. This item is basically identical to an over the door hooks product for sale right now on urbanoutfitters.com, but this one is cheaper! Buy this one!

I bought this for my dorm room. Though it looks nice and strong, the hook was too narrow for my door and seems to be the case for all doors in my dorm.

I used to use a plastic door hook and had no complaints because I used it for hanging ties, belts, and caps.
However, I happened to buy this one and love it!
This looks real nice and strong. Highly recommended!

This is a handy door hanger. My roommate had one I liked, and we have one on our bathroom so I wanted one for my room. The hooks are great, and there is plenty of room for sweatshirts, hats and belts.

The clips to attach to the door are a bit thick. My door is very tight to close with it on there and it is about 2-3X the thickness of the other hangers in the house. If you have a tight fitting door, I would skip this product.

I also didn't realize that while all the hooks are awesome in theory, I can only put so many things on them before the door gets too bulky. A couple sweatshirts is fine, and putting anyhting put hats on the ones nearest to the handle will cover the handle. I hadn't thought of that when buying it, and I would probably go with a 6-8 hook one instead.

This would be perfect for hats, and is ok for a couple small sweatshirts. Big jackets are too bulky and the wooden balls are too big to slide most belts over (I look belt buckles around to fit). It works fine for the price.

It fits on my bedroom door, but I do have to jam it shut now. Think it's a tight fit. Otherwise it looks great and is very similar to an Urban outfitters door hanger I almost bought. This was a better price though.

Works great, sturdy, holds a lot of jackets, it just doesn't allow the door to shut all the way - I feel like we have a standard door, so not sure if this would be the case with everyone or not. Pretty good quality for the money but you could probably find a cheaper one at Bed, Bath & Beyond that would be similar and do the same job.

I have very little storage and closet space so I ordered two. One is on my front door and easily holds my 2 winter coats, ski pants, coldweather Carhart bibs, lots of gloves, hats, and my head lamp. The other is on the bathroom door, and keeps the extra gloves, face masks, and other winter gear organized and off the floor. The wooden balls offer a large enough profile that it does not put "poke-holes" through my clothes. Durable, sturdy; Very pleased with this item.

I purchased this to solve the problem of where should I put the clothes I have worn already, but wanna wear again. It is made of metal, it is sturdy, and is currently holding my heaviest winter jacket, together with t shirts and jeans. I'm giving it four stars because it did not fit very well on my door, but then I realized that the door is not exactly straight on top, the product has no problems.
