OXO was founded on the philosophy of Universal Design, which is the concept of designing products that are easy to use for the largest possible spectrum of users. In the case of OXO, it means designing products for young and old, male and female, left- and right- handed and many with special needs. These ergonomically- designed, trans-generational tools set a new standard for the industry and raised the bar of consumer expectation for comfort and performance.

A brilliant redesign of a basic tool,
By And everything changed. Okay, the sky didn't turn plaid. The space time continum didn't unravel. Instead, I went from an awkward system of filling shotglasses up to the top of the logo and adding in a teaspoon and a half, to a quick, simple system of just measuring the exact amount I needed without thinking about it. The angled measuring cup is just brilliant. I had no idea how useful it would be until I used it. Trust me on this one. It'll change the way you cook - for the better. I've found these sturdy plastic cups are top rack dishwasher safe as well as occasionally microwave safe. The quantities are clearly labeled and easy to read. The moulded front pour results in no spills or dribbles. Basically, if you're looking for a way to measure fairly precise quantities under 4 ounces, I can't recommend the Oxo Measuring Cup highly enough. Try one - it's cheap - and just see if you don't replace all your measuring cups with Oxo.

great for medical purposes,
This review is from: OXO Good Grips 1/4 Cup Mini Angled Measuring Cup
My husband has dementia due to chemicals in Iraq and I use this to give him his medications because he tends to bite down hard on the cup and it doesn't break. The marking on the side shows milliliters as well as teaspoons. It also allows me to give him ice and small amounts of liquids easier. The point on the cup goes into his mouth so even if he bites down and clamps down the liquid can still go in. I bought my first set at Target several years ago and have used them for all kinds of things but now as a Nurse and caregiver I find them terrific for Medical purposes.
