I dislike cleaning. This dustpan makes the job less unpleasant. It works well. One sweep to get it all into the pan. The rubber edge makes a good seal with the floor so the dust doesn't go under the dustpan. It has tall edges so things don't fall over the edge when you lift and move it. It fits all my broom handles and stays in place, even though I have several different brooms. works for indoors basement and outdoors. It is a strong plastic.
Edit: I have had this dust pan for 5 years and It as good as the day I got it. The rubber edge is straight and true. The plastic of it is still intact. This is a very well made dust pan.

No more trying to sweep up dust endlessly to pick up the dust. The rubber edge works to get everything up in a few swooshes. Saves a lot of time, something I don't have much of when the curious little ones start running for the dust pan.

Picks up dirt nicely. It's quite large and can tolerate rough treatment. It's larger and sturdier than it looks in the picture.

Like everyone else says the rubber edge works great, it fits most brooms, etc. The only problem is that I liked to leave it on my broom while I sweep, so that when I get to the other end of the room, I still have it. But it tends to fall off during sweeping. So you have to take it off and move it around.

Product is well made and sturdy enough to last a long time. Also has little "teeth" on the sides to clean the broom/brush. A handy feature if you have pets...aka...pet hair. Would recommend.

Title says it all but I guess I can say it again.

It's a dust pan. It's made of plastic and it work as you'd expect when picking up dirt.
Has a runner lip so you can angle the dust pan how you like and till stay flush with the floor

Only downside is that the clip on the handle is too large to clip onto my broom.

I check Amazon reviews with fervor and have found them very reliable. The reviews of this dustpan, though, have shaken my faith. The problem is a fundamental design flaw, not a "lemon" issue. EVERY user must have had the following problems.

This dustpan has a fatal design flaw: it bends unevenly when you press down on the handle. Consequently, the rubber edge does not make a solid contact with the floor and small crumbs slip UNDER the dust pan. You have to sweep many times more than you would with a solidly-built ordinary pan made of metal. You can overcome this design flaw by holding the dust pan from INSIDE the pan with your four fingers and your thumb on the outside. That allows you to exercise uniform pressure on the rubber edge and prevent crumbs from escaping. That solution has a pretty high YUCK factor: you sweep whatever is on the floor over your fingers.

On the upside, the handle is very comfortable. But what good is it to have a comfortable handle do on a tool that doesn't do the job?

I'm going back to metal. For those who need a more comfortable grip, a roll of 3/4" or 1" foam pipe insulation should do the trick fine and leave you with plenty of excess for other cushioning jobs.

Actually, it is just a good dust pan - wide enough to catch all the broom sends to it. I like the handle that will clip onto a broom.
