Unlike most bulky, awkward oven mitts, this silicone one from OXO lives up to the Good Grips name-it grips with dexterity and flexibility, thanks to its ribbed design. Measuring 13 inches in length (one size fits all), the mitt is long enough to protect the wrist and part of the forearm, and is flexible enough to fit either a left or right hand. A soft, quilted fabric liner adds further insulation, prevents sweating, and lets the mitt slip easily on and off.

I do a lot of cooking. After burning the last hole in my last cheap oven mitt, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I did my research online and found this little beauty. I am in love with the OXO brand, and if you've ever purchased anything from this company, you know why. This glove is no different. Wearing this thing, I feel like I could handle plutonium without my hand even getting a little warm. Moving up and around my broiler often with this glove, I don't even register a temperature change on my fingers. The ribs on this glove help keep things from slipping, and the magnet helps for hanging it on my over the range microwave. I loved it so much I'm buying another one!

These are every part as good as the other Oxo mitts on Amazon, but for almost half the price (as of this review), so I bought two. This was just a bargain I couldn't pass up!

I've never owned a cooler oven mitt, literally, and everything about them lives up to the hype, though the actual color is a lighter shade of gray than that in the above picture if that matters to anyone.

Everyone has said it all except that I was delighted to find that the grip is the same on both sides of the hand (identical), so, buy 2! Maybe 2 more for your (charcoal) BBQ-er. (Because he will charcoal them up!) I really love the feel inside & out. I like them better than the 100% silicone gloves. Happy Baking!
