I bought this after seeing the very positive review; unfortunately, I must have received a damaged one.. It looks fine but it's ever so slightly curved so that it catches hardly any dirt at all. You pretty much have to pick up the dirt by hand and place it into the bin -- at which point it works just fine. But trying to sweep anything into it, almost no matter how much I deliberately press it flat against the floor, results in the dirt sweeping under it or collecting at its edge. It seems to otherwise be made of good solid material, but it definitely completely fails at its purpose. Am really, really disappointed and will probably have to donate it to the garbage can.

I have replaced all of my stand up dustpan kits with this. You can stand up straight, use a good broom of your choice (instead of the short substandard ones that typically come with the stand-up or flip-up style kits) and move the pan around accurately with the foot, applying pressure to make sure nothing slides underneath. It is sturdily constructed. I highly recommend.

This is a large plastic dust pan with hard rubber edge that works well - takes more space to store because of move with foot feature that I generally don't use, but this might be helpful if bending over was a problem (at some point you need to bend over to pick it up anyway).
